Project Title :
Detailed Survey and Digitization required for the
Topographical Information System of the wind farm
sites.
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS :
-
Particular information about the locations of the Electrical
high-tension wires and the electrical sub-stations in the area.
-
High-resolution survey (contour intervals of 1 m) with other
details marked for the site of the wind farm and of the wind
gauging stations currently in operation.

Updated land-use and road alignment maps of the area in which
the wind farm is to be set up.
-
Broad base survey with the contour intervals better than 5m
and higher resolution than the 1: 25,000 Toposheet of Survey
of India; for the area in which the wind farm is to be set up.

Bhavnagar i.e. Toposheet No. 46 C/2 [Gujarat]

Bhavnagar (Guj), Dhank (Guj), Porbandar (Guj), Chitradurg (Kar),
Jaisalmer (Raj).

Field studies to ensure broad-based positional accuracy.

Identification and demarcation of the site maps.

Total Station/ Plane Table + DGPS surveys from the sites.

Generation of high resolution thematic maps (Contour: 5 m, Land
use; Land cover) by integration of the above.

Data integration and Digital Elevation Model (DEM) generation.
OUTPUT :
Customised GIS platform which will permit the client to:

Visualize
the Digital Elevation Model (DEM)
from various angles for any given site uploaded on this platform.

Extract and observe detailed terrain information, such as Contours,
Landuse, Revenue Maps Overlay &
Road alignments pertaining to
each of the uploaded sites.

Network information system of the internal cabling and layout
of individual as well as all other Wind Farm sites.
